Mary Healey/Kelly (nee Adams) living in Vancouver Island, British Columbia and Alice Norman (nee Adams) now living in St John's Newfoundland. This was their first time visiting the war memorial dedicated to their father, Alfred Joseph Adams in St John's NL which I discovered through my researching my great grandfather¿s contribution to this war effort. They are the only two children of Alfred Joseph Adams and Beatrice Adams and they were just children when they lost their father on the S.S. Greyburn to a German U-boat in 1941 and they have little or no memory of him so they were delighted to have the connection of the war memorial and be close to and touch it.
