Habkirk, Ramsay MacKenzie - Flying Officer. Born 4th January, 1922, at Wingham, Ont. Educated at Wingham Public and High Schools. Entered the service of the Bank 2nd July, 1940. Served at Wingham. Enlisted 7th March, 1942, from that branch in R.C.A.F. Pilot Officer in August, 1943; Flying Officer in February, 1944. Trained at Toronto, and St. Johns, Que. Overseas in August, 1943. Reported (10th August, 1944) missing after air operations. Officially presumed dead 24th September, 1945. <br><i>From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.</i> -

TILLY-SUR-SEULLES WAR CEMETERY Calvados, France
From Bayeux, take the D6 southeastwards for about 12 kilometres to Tilly-sur-Seulles. In the centre of the town, turn right (westwards) onto the D13. The cemetery will be found after about 1 kilometre on the left hand side.
