Burial/memorial information
Brother of Private Wilson Moore, regimental number 859472, 43rd Battalion (Manitoba Regiment) Canadian Expeditionary Force, killed in action at Vimy, France, April 17th, 1917.
Served in Manitoba, Bermuda with B Force, Jamaica with Y Force, Hong Kont with C Force. He had 1,100 days of service, including 326 overseas.
To commemorate his sacrifice, the Manitoba government named Moore Point located on Utik Lake in his honor in 1995.
