MAUBERT-FONTAINE COMMUNAL CEMETERY Ardennes, France
Maubert-Fontaine is a village and commune on the main road from Mezieres to Hirson (N.51, N.39). It lies 16.25 miles (26 kilometres) north-west of Mezieres, and the bus service between Mezieres and Hirson passes through Maubert-Fontaine. The most convenient station is Mezieres-Charleville, which is on the line from Paris to Luxembourg. The cemetery is on the northern outskirts of the village on the D.32 road to Patte D' Oie. Near the southern wall are the graves of seven airmen. Three of them belonged to the Royal Air Force and four to the Royal Canadian Air Force.
