Son of Charly and Andrée Clerc, of Zurich, Switzerland. Brother of Francois and Laurent. Flying Officer Clerc was a professor at the University of Saskatchewan.
After a memorial service on Wednesday 9 July 1947 in the evening the father of Flying Officer Clerc, Professor Charly Clerc, Zurich, unveiled the memorial wall erected by the parish."
