Son of Angus Kalevesky (aka Peters) and ? Cobb of Leeds, Yorkshire, England.
On 7 February 1943, at 4.11 am, U-614 fired three torpedoes and hit the Harmala, which sank in position 55°14'N/26°27'W. The captain, 31 crew members, 10 gunners and a navy signalman were killed. The 11 survivors were recovered by the FFL Lobelia (K05), of the Forces de la France Libre, and landed at Greenock, Scotland.
