Burial/memorial information
On 2 December 1940, Lady Glanely made the route Vancouver, British Columbia, Panama, Bermuda, London, England, with convoy HX-90. At 5:07 am, she was torpedoed and sunk by U-101 410 miles (660 km) west of Bloody Foreland, Ireland, position 55°00'N/20°00'W. The entire crew of 32 sailors, including the captain, and one gunner lost their lives.
