Petitmont is a village and commune 60 kilometres east-south-east of Nancy and about 10 kilometres south-east of the main road from Nancy to Sarrebourg. The communal cemetery is on the northern side of the village, and is north of the church in a minor road leading to Cirey-sur-Vezouze. In the south-eastern corner are the graves of three airmen, two of them belonged to the Royal Air Force and one to the Royal Canadian Air Force.
