Son of Frank E. and Mary L. Daughney, of Dalhousie, Restigouche Co., New Brunswick. Brother of Flight Sergeant John Haliburton Daughney, who died on April 22, 1942, while serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force.
Major Ralph Herman Daughney has been honoured by having Daughney Lake named after him. The location of Daughney Lake is in Yukon (105B02- 60° 09’ 27”- 130° 54’ 03”).
