Two brothers that served overseas - Joseph on the right and pictured to his left is Henry. Joseph was the youngest of nine children. He had two sisters, Agnes and Josie and six brothers. His mother who was very religious named all her boys after St. Joseph. Joseph Theadore "Ted",Joseph Francis "Frank" who served in the R C A Medical Core, Joseph Phillip "Phill",Joseph Alfred "Freddy", who was wounded in action in Italy, Joseph "Henry",who served overseas as well and Joseph "Ivan". None of them used Joseph as an everyday name, so to ensure one did when Joseph was born he wasn't given a second name. But since he was the youngest,most called him "Baby" at first, then "Wee Wee", and then "Bomber" in his adolescent years. -
