Son of George Georgeson and Mrs. Edith Caroline (née Raymond) of Banff, Calgary, Alberta. Brother of James, Raymond, Mrs. Yvonne Pritchard of Lethbridge, Alberta and Dorothy Georgeson.
1939-45 Star, Air Crew Europe Star, Defence Medal, War Medal, General Service Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, awarded his Operational Wings posthumously the 28 November 1946.

Banff (Alberta) War Memorial. Erected by the Mount Rundle chapter of the I.O.D.E. and unveiled September 2nd, 1923 near the Great War Veterans' Association Memorial Hall on Banff avenue. It was made of stone from Mount Rundle. The current memorial includes a pair of World War Two panels with 29 names on either side of a central panel listing 52 World War One names. It is now located at the front wall of the Royal Canadian Legion, Colonel Moore Branch #26, on Banff avenue.

GUIDEL COMMUNAL CEMETERY Morbihan, France
Guidel is a village in the Department of the Morbihan, 60 kilometres west-north-west of Vannes, the chief town of the Department, and 10 kilometres north-west of Lorient. It lies 2 kilometres off the Lorien-Quimperle Road. The GUIDEL COMMUNAL CEMETERY is on the north-eastern side of the village on the road to Gestel, opposite a market square.
