Royal Canadian Mounted Police
Cst. Gordon was born in Edmonton, Alberta. He played hockey, baseball, golf, water-skied, played squash, and downhill skied. Cst. Gordon was the right marker for his troop at Depot. He was known for his gentleness, honesty, and integrity. He loved spending time with his family. Cst. Gordon and his three colleagues were shot and killed on duty near Mayerthorpe, Alberta.
At the time of Cst. Gordon's death, his wife Kim was pregnant with their second child, Anthony. Their firstborn was Spencer. The Fallen Four Memorial Park was created to have a "living legacy" memorial in Mayerthorpe to honour the four members.
