Cst. King dreamed of becoming a member of the Force. He initially joined as a civilian member radio operator and then became a Special Constable. When the Force accepted married men, he became a regular member. Cst. King is remembered as being a true gentleman who was honest, ethical, and always willing to go out of his way to help others. Cst. King was married to Marie and they had a son and two daughters. Cst. King is buried at Depot. A community hall in Warman, SK was renamed the Brian King Centre in his honour. Cst. King’s daughter, Lori, joined the Force in 1989.
