My Uncle Ken..the man I never knew..but the man who I feel...I have always known very well.. along with Dad Jack..they went to Europe to defend the ideals of freedom and democracy.. Dad came back..but Uncle Ken did not..posthumously awarded the 1939-1945 Star, Air Crew Europe Star, Canadian Volunteer Service Metal, Clasp for the CVSM, and the Memorial Cross GRVI.. the family image of Uncle Ken going to battle in his Hawker Hurricane MK-1..will live on forever.
