Warrant Officer Class I ALLAN ALLISTER MACLEOD was listed as previously reported missing now reported killed on active service in Canada in this excerpt from the the RCAF 647th casualty list of the war. Sergeant CLAUDE OSCAR LEGROULX and Sergeant JOSEPH MAURICE CLAUDE L'HEUREUX of the Royal Canadian Air Force Pilot and Officer EDWARD SMITH and Pilot Officer RONALD JAMES PARR, of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve whose names also appear on this list, perished along with Sergeant Legroulx, presumably when their aircraft crashed at Mabou Mountain, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
