Enlisted on January 29, 1941, and won his wing as a Wireless Operator Air Gunner. He was with RAF Ferry Command in 1942, then transferred to #119 RAF Squadron of Costal Command. He was aboard a Sunderland Flying Boat on December 15, 1942 which failed to return. -
