Scott Thomson was born July 5, 1916, son of Reverend and Mrs David D. Thomson of Parkhill. He graduated from Sir Adam Beck Collegiate and was a music student at the University of Western Ontario. He enlisted in London in 1940 and trained as a Pilot. He was piloting a Hudson aircrat of #407 Squadron of Costal Command when he failed to return for an anti-shipping patron newar the Friesan Islands.
