Additional information
Son of Meyer and Shayndel (née Koffman) Lupinsky. His parents immigrated from Romania in 1910 and settled in Winnipeg. He was the youngest and only son with five sisters, Lillie, Mollie, Rose, Anne and Ettie. He celebrated his Bar Mitavah in 1932. He attended St. John's Technical School, and is commemorated on a tablet at the school of the students who lost their lives during the two World Wars. It was evident from the letters he sent to his sisters that he was quite intelligent and had a wonderful sense of humour and was quite eloquent in his writing.
