Additional information
Son of Émile Chasé and Émelia Picotin from Drummondville, Québec. Brother of Private Gaston Chassé, who fought in Europe and survived the Second World War.

He embarked for Great Britain on 15 July 1940 and arrived in Glasgow, Scotland, on 1 August. On 15 June 1943, he left for the Mediterranean theatre of operations, landing in Sicily on 10 July. He was killed in action on the 28th during an assault on Mount Scalpello, near Catenanuova.
