Son of Alexandre Joseph Albert and Amanda Paulin from Caraquet, New Brunswick.

Brother of Sergeant Martial Albert, R-113663, of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and Private Valmont Albert, of the Canadian Army, both fought during the Second World War and survived.

He was killed in action during the Borgo Santa Maria Battle in Italy.
