Canadian crew members Flying Officer Robert J. Fitzpatrick, J-87097, Sergeant James H. Jones, J-90284 and Sergeant Kenneth W. Drumm, J-94303 of the 426 Squadron Halifax Bomber No. 883 "OE-E" shot down on 13 May 1944 by a German Messerschmitt over Londerzeel, Belgium are commemorated on a plaque located on the wall of the town church.
