Farrell, John Patrick - Pilot Officer. Born 6th February, 1920, at Hamilton, Ont. Educated at Cathedtal High School, Hamilton. Entered the service of the Bank 8th March, 1937. Served at Hamilton city branches. Enlisted 8th February, 1941, from Delta (Hamilton) in R.C.A.F. Corporal 5th April, 1943; Pilot Officer in April, 1944. Trained at Toronto, and Dartmouth, N.S. Overseas in December, 1941. Attached R.A.F. Served with 417 Squadron in North Africa and Middle East. Attached to Headquarters, Middle East Command, R.C.A.F., in August, 1943. Killed on active service in Middle East 24th September, 1944. <br><i>From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.</i>

MAALA CEMETERY Yemen
Maala lies in the Aden Peninsula on the Southern side of Aden Harbour, halfway between the Steamer Point and Crater on the main road south of Khromasksar Airport. The MAALA CEMETERY is located south of the main road to Crater.
