Baptized Joseph Albert Édouard Camille Huneault, Son of Albert Huneault and Marie Anne (aka Mary Jane) Williams, of Montréal, Québec.
Enlisted in the Royal 22nd Regiment, he crossed to Great Britain on May 11, 1940, and arrived in Liverpool, England, on the 21st. On June 15, 1943, after being assigned to Force M, he embarked for the Mediterranean to take part in Operation Husky. He landed on the beach at Pachino with the second assault wave. He was killed in action on July 27, 1943, during an assault on Mount Scalpello near Catanenova.
