Son of Joseph Boulard and Délina Barrette from Warden, Shefford, Québec.

His full name is Albert Calixte Boulard.

He died on 26 December 1943 of wounds sustained at Fossacesia, Italy, following the accidental explosion of a landmine. He was buried there on the 28th before being exhumed and reburied in the Riviere Moro cemetery in Ortona, Italy.
