Son of Joseph Olivier Eugene Robidoux and Lucie Lavallée (aka Lucy) of St. François Xavier, Manitoba.

Served in Manitoba, Jamaica with Y Force and Hong Kong with C Force. He had 1,109 days of service, including 343 overseas.

To commemorate his sacrifice, the Manitoba government named Robidoux Lake located south of York Factory in his honor in 1964.
