Son of Edward Robinson and Alice Lee Laverty. Husband of Lillian May Wilson of New Westminster, British Columbia. Served in Manitoba, Bermuda with Force B, Jamaica with Force Y and Hong Kong with Force C. He had 1,375 days of service, including 612 overseas.

To commemorate his sacrifice, the Manitoba government named Henry Robinson Lake located west of Seller Lake in his honor in 1964.
