Brundrit, Edward Hodgins - Sergeant. Born 10th February, 1919, at Winnipeg. Educated at Public and High Schools, Weston, Ontario. Entered the service of the Bank 15th January, 1937. Served at Weston and Market (Toronto). Enlisted 10th May, 1941, from the latter branch in The Royal Canadian Dragoons. Corporal in August, 1943, Sergeant in November, 1943. Overseas in November, 1941. With 1st Armoured Car Regiment (R.CD.) from January, 1942. Served in Sicilian and Italian campaigns. With Regiment when it reached North Sea 15th April, 1945. Killed in action in North Germany, 4th May, 1945. <br><i>From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.</i> -
