This is Missing Memo 6254 dated 23 Mar 45. It lists all of the crew members of Stirling LJ 526, which was shot down over Denmark on the return trip from mining the Baltic Sea. The crew were buried secretly on the grounds of the German Barracks at Svenborg, on the Island of Funen. The bodies were not discovered until after the war when the Danes informed the Allied Graves Concentration Unit about them. For further information and pictures of this crash, please go to the Photo Album of Roderick Hugh Cameron.<P> Source: Library & Archives Canada RG 24 Vol via R. Whitehouse -
