Photo of ERNEST MARTEL
Native of Bourget, Ontario April 10, 1922. Son of Ernest Martel (father) and Eugénie Cote. As a small child, Ernest followed his father everywhere who was a bead in the parish and we saw him more often in the church yard than at home. The only detail obtained by his parents indicates that he fell in the field of Honour on August 14, 1944. May his soul and those of all our soldiers who died in combat enjoy eternal peace. -
