This is an image of my mother Rona Williamson, later Leduc, as a nurse-probationer, with her then fiancé Richard Mellish, taken about 1941 before he left for Britain to serve in the RCAF/RAF. This photo is of my uncle Richard Mellish, known as Uncle Richie, Dick or Son. He was the third oldest son of Beatrice and Richard Mellish's children, Majorie, Noreen, Richard, Lorna, and Bert, who are all now deceased.
