H.M.S. HOOD
Joseph Gallant was on the HMS Hood when the ship had sunk, May 24, 1941. Samuel Gaudet, John Gillis and William Gallant were also on the ship that fateful day. A picture of the HMS Hood in Iceland just before its sinking. This picture was found in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 65 in Brigus, Newfoundland."
