Additional information

His full name is Joseph Roméo Pageau. Son of Audina Pageau and Marie Jeanne Laberge of Bagotville, Saguenay, Québec. His brother, Victor Pageau, also perished with the sinking of the Proteus.

The Proteus disappeared without a trace on 23 November 1941 in the Bermuda triangle.
