Leading Aircraftman DOUGLAS ERNEST PAUL, is one of 21 men commemorated on this plaque, placed In Loving Memory of the Men of St Lukes Parish who gave their lives in the World War II, in St Luke’s Anglican Church, Ottawa, Ontario. He died on May 6, 1941 and is buried in IPSWICH CEMETERY, Suffolk, United Kingdom. ROBERT STEWART MONTGOMERY, whose name appears immediately above DOUGLAS ERNEST PAUL on this plaque, was a civilian who drowned on April 30, 1941 when the S.S. Nerissa was sunk. -
