Douglass Buchanan was my mother's brother. He was killed in action before I was born. In the photo the King of England is awarding my Uncle Doug with the Distinguished Flying Cross for "great gallantry in the performance of his duty while serving with No. 101 Squadron of the Royal Air Force."

HOTTON WAR CEMETERY Belgium
HOTTON WAR CEMETERY is located 58 km south east of Namur. From Namur the N4 leads onto the town of Marche-en-Famenne. From Marche-en-Famenne, the N86 leads towards Hotton. On reaching Hotton, the cemetery is located 500 metres on the N86 towards Menil.
