William Alfred Sneath b.19 Jun 1913, Alameda, Saskatchewan; d. 23 June 1943; went down with his plane in Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium returning to England after air raid to Mulheim, Germany. There is a war memorial in that town that lists his name. See also the book "Gevallen Vlengels - Fallen Wings", by Robert Bellio and Debora Grossi which tells part of his story. My mother, Jeanettes Sneath Cox, was his sister. -
