Son of Henry George and Elizabeth Morris Redford (remarried Cooper), of Toothill, Essex, England. Husband of Gertrude Hilda (née Dickens) Redford, of Vancouver, British Columbia. Father of William Frank Henry and Gertrude Eileen Nolte. Leading Aircraftsman Redford was discharged on 24 November 1941 for medical reasons.
