Cst. Bourdon was born in Quebec. Although his schooling was done in French, he had a strong desire to become bilingual and managed to achieve this when he became a member of the Force. He served at Maple Creek, Meadow Lake, and Assiniboia detachments in Saskatchewan and was posted to the airport in Saskatoon. Cst. Bourdon obtained his license to fly small planes and then his commercial license. He had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh. Cst. Bourdon was married to Jacquie and they had a daughter named Danielle. Cst. Bourdon is buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon.
