Located in the former area of the village of New Jerusalem, this memorial is now in the midst of the training grounds for Canadian Forces Base Gagetown. It is dedicated to the memory of the local war dead and veterans of the Second World War. Subsequently, the memorial was altered with additional plaques, to also be dedicated to the memory of the local war dead and veterans of the First World War.

HISTORY
The CH-136 Kiowa was built by Bell Helicopter Textron and started its operations role at CFB Gagetown in 1972. The fleet consisted of 11 Kiowas whose primary role consisted of reconnaissance, artillery observation post, command liaison, battlefield transport and aircrew training. The Kiowa crew consisted of one pilot and one observer. In 1994, the fleet was transferred to Valcartier to be replaced by the CH-146 Griffon.

HISTORIQUE
Construit par Bell Helicopter Textron, le CH-136 (Kiowa) a été utilisé pour la première fois dans un role opérationnel à BFC Gagetown, en 1972. Son équipage était constitué d'un pilote et d'un observateur. Dedicated on 13 June 1996, this memorial, a CH-136 Kiowa helicopter, stands in memory to all of the personnel who worked on this type of helicopter and the CH-135 Twin Hueys with 403 and 422 Squadrons at CFB Gagetown. In particular, the memory is dedicated to the memory of three military personnel killed in a Kiowa crash near Corner Brook, Newfoundland, on 17 February 1977. The memorial was erected by Air Command, Bell Helicopter Textron and the 2nd Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment.

Erected in 1996, this memorial is dedicated to the war dead of the First and Second World Wars. This Cenotaph was dedicated in 1996, with members of Fredricton Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 4 conducting the ceremony under the direction of the Rev. Reginald Miller. The ceremony was held at 11:00 a.m. on Nov. 11, 1996.
