The Canadian Pacific Railway Great War Tablet in the McAdam Railway Station was first dedicated at the Canadian Pacific Railway office on Prince William Street in Saint John, New Brunswick on April 28, 1922. It was relocated to McAdam in the 1970s and erected in the park in front of the McAdam Railway Station until 2018. The tablet was restored in honour of its rededication on the 97th anniversary of the original ceremony and installed inside the station. It is the only Canadian Pacific Railway memorial tablet dedicated in Atlantic Canada.

To honour those who served and gave their lives during the Great War, the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) erected a series of bronze memorial tablets in over twenty select locations along their railway system and offices in Canada, United States, England and China. The tablet depicts Britannia, the national personification of Britain, as a helmeted female warrior with a lion to her right and a shield at her feet, HMS Lion (Admiral Beatty's flagship during the Battle of Jutland) with airplanes above and a tank in front, Canadian Pacific Steamship RMS Empress of Russia (used during the war as an armed merchant cruiser and transport ship), Canadian troops, and a CPR locomotive in a nod to all those who travelled by train across Canada before heading overseas. The plaque was designed by Archibald Pearce, Chief Engineer's Department, Montreal, with its model and casting by the Bromsgrove Guild at Worcester, England.

This memorial is dedicated to the local veterans of Canada's wars. St. Stephen Rural Cemetery For a great many years, it was the custom of the Branch to place flags on all veterans' graves in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery and other Cemeteries in the surrounding areas. The purchase of the small flags began to become very expensive and they only lasted for a short time. Comrade Phil Grimmer and his family offered to place a permanent stone at the entrance of the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery to honour all veterans who are buried in the Cemetery. This was greatly accepted by the members of the Branch. The stone is of red granite and suitably inscribed. A memorial and dedication ceremony was held in the summer of 1995, conducted by the Chaplin, Comrade Doug Dougherty. The members of the Branch and the Ladies Auxiliary attended the service, as well as the general public. The flag staff carries the New Brunswick Flag, the Canadian Flag and the Union Jack. The small flags are still placed on the veterans' graves in the many rural cemeteries in the area.
