This memorial is dedicated to four servicemen from the Jarvie area who were killed during the Second World War. It is believed that the memorial was erected in the autumn of 1979 or early 1980's by the Jarvie Royal Canadian Legion Branch which closed in January 1980. The Jarvie Community Council requested the land where the hall was located be used to create a park and Cenotaph with the funds being donated by the Jarvie Water and Sewer System.
