It is not known when the Jarvis Street Baptist Church First World War Roll of Honour was erected. The present church was constructed in 1875 and much of the church building was destroyed by fire in 1938 after which an expanded church was rebuilt.

It is not known when the Laurence Percival Kennedy Gibson Plaque was erected or which church it was erected in. Gibson's name is on the Westminster Presbyterian Church First World War Tablet, so he was a member of that congregation. Westminster-Central United Church, previously Westminster Presbyterian Church, joined Old St. Andrew's as St. Andrew's United Church in 1950 at the present site on Bloor Street.

This tablet was unveiled at the Sunday morning worship in Westminster-Central United Church on November 6, 1949, by Lieutenant-Governor Ray Lawson. It was erected in memory of those from the congregation who fell in the Second World War. Westminster-Central United Church, previously Westminster Presbyterian Church joined Old St. Andrew's as St. Andrew's United Church in 1950 at the present site on Bloor Street, and the Old St. Andrew's site was sold.

On October 3, 1920, a memorial tablet was unveiled to the 27 men from the congregation of Old St. Andrew's Church who made the supreme sacrifice in the First World War. The service was attending by Brigadier-General Ross, CB, CMB, who had charge of a unit in the first contingent. The tablet was unveiled by tow Highlanders in uniform.

In 1950, Old St. Andrew's and Westminster-Central joined as St. Andrew's United Church at the present site on Bloor Street, and the Old St. Andrew's site was sold.

Shaw Street School was home for the 123rd and 208th Battalions of the Canadian Expeditionary Force and of the Royal Air Force during the First World War. It is not known when the Board of Education of the city of Toronto erected this plaque.

Shaw Street School was built in 1914 and closed by the Toronto District School Board in 2000-2001. Artscape Youngplace opened in this building in 2013.

The Thomas Edward Ellis Plaque was erected by his wife on June 17, 1927. Thomas served in the 2nd Field Company, Canadian Engineers. It was a Militia engineer unit that was based in Toronto prior to the First World War and remained active until after the war was over.

Hanging in St. Matthew's sanctuary are three memorials that are not identified by a church name. They are believed to be from Oakwood Methodist Church which joined St. Matthew's United Church in 1975. The artist of this Roll of Honour is unknown.

In 1917, Oakwood Methodist Church was established. It entered the United Church of Canada as Oakwood United Church in 1925. In 1961, Dufferin United Church (formerly Dufferin Methodist Church) merged with Oakwood United Church and in 1975, Oakwood United Church merged with St. Matthew's United Church.
