In 1925, it entered the United Church of Canada becoming Windermere Avenue United Church and in 2023 the congregation amalgamated with Runnymede United Church.

Reverend (Major) Burne conducted the service which was largely attended by residents of the district. Windermere Avenue Methodist Church was founded in 1912. In 1925, it entered the United Church of Canada becoming Windermere Avenue United Church and in 2023 the congregation amalgamated with Runnymede United Church.

Pictures for parishioners who served in the First World War were unveiled in the parlour of Bathurst Street Methodist Church at 736 Bathurst Street. The Bathurst Street United congregation relocated to Trinity-St. Paul’s United Church in December 1985 and continues to worship in the chapel. It is not known what happened to the photos.
