Parkdale’s Fallen Heroes

1914-1918

‘They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn;
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We shall remember them.

‘As the starts that shall be bright when we are dust,
Moving in marches upon the heavenly plain,
As the starts that are starry in the time of our darkness,
To the end, to the end, they remain.’
