St. Monica's Church First World War Plaque
A plaque was donated to St. Monica's Church and dedicated to those who served in the First World War.
St. Monica’s Church was first located on the north-east corner of Gerrard Street and Ashdale Avenue in 1910. The site was sold and a new location was acquired on Hiawatha Avenue in 1921 which served as the worship space for St. Monica’s until 1930, after which it was used as a parish hall. In 2002, the site on Hiawatha Avenue was sold.

A processional cross in memory of parishioners who gave their lives in the First World War was donated to the church.
Chapman Holy Water Font
Mrs. Chapman donated a terracotta holy water font in memory of her husband. It was made at Guilford in Surrey, England, inspired by the design of the old font in Newberry Church, Derbyshire.

A window in memory of Gunner Kenneth McLeod MacDonald was unveiled in December 1920. Gunner MacDonald was a member of the 15th Battery of the Canadian Field Artillery who died on May 31, 1916.

A brass memorial in memory of Private Ernest Monckton was donated to the church. Private Monckton was a soldier in the 19th Battalion who was killed in action on October 11, 1918.

A marble tablet was unveiled in the west end of the church in December 1920.

A stained glass window in memory of Private Henry Attridge McConnell and Captain William Gardiner McConnell was unveiled in 1919. Private McConnell was a member of the 3rd Battalion who died of his wounds on July 9, 1918. Captain McConnell was a member of the 10th Battalion who died on October 13, 1917.
