At the 1956 Blackwell Church annual meeting an Organ Committee was appointed conisting of Rev. Einar Egilsson, Dr. H.B. Wallis - Chairman, Charles Phelps and Sarah W. Smith - Treasurer. Funds were raised and a new Hammond two-manual spinet model organ was purchased .The organ was dedicated on November 11, 1956, in memory of those who served and lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars.

Blackwell United Church closed in 2014 and it is not known what happened to the organ.

St. John’s Church erected a plaque in the foyer honouring Reverend Edgar Watt McKegney, M.A., T.C.D. of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers who was a prisoner of war for eight months during the First World War. When the church closed in 2011, the plaque was moved to All Saints' Anglican Church.

In early July 1944, the minister and congregation at Blackwell United Church honoured Private Core at a Sunday morning memorial service. During the service, an honour roll bearing the names of fourteen men who had enlisted in the Second World War from the Blackwell congregation and community was unveiled and dedicated. The unveiling ceremony was performed by Private James Somes, Royal Canadian Artillery and the prayer of dedication was pronounced by the Rev. P.S. Banes, of Point Edward.

When Blackwell United Church closed in 2014, the Honour Roll was moved to Sarnia Legion Branch No. 62.

This Honour Roll pays tribute to the Sarnia First Nation men and women who were served in the Second World War. 

Three honour rolls located within St. Clair United Church pay tribute to local Aamjiwnaang First Nation who served during the two World Wars. One honours those who served in the First World War and the other two (one which was completed before the end of the war) honour those who served in the Second World War.

Copies of the honour rolls were framed and placed in the Aamjiwnaang First Nation office around 2015.
