I am not sure which book they are commemorated in; how can I find them? 
You can start your search without any books pre-filtered.

I am looking for the fallen based on their date of death, how would I do I do that? 
You can use the advanced search of the Canadian Virtual War Memorial (CVWM). Each record of the fallen in the CVWM identifies which of the eight Books of Remembrance they are commemorated in, and on which page their name is found.

Can I get a copy of a page from one of the books?
You can use our online form to request a copy of a page from one of the eight Books of Remembrance.
