Memorial
The Don Felt Trophy, donated in 1944 by Pilot Officer Felt's parents, Aleda and A. Howard Felt, to the local air cadet squadron in Barrie, Ontario (102 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Cadets). Today (2024), this trophy is still annually awarded to the member of 102 Squadron who is selected as the top overall cadet. It is the squadron's oldest and highest award. P/O Felt was the pilot of a Wellington bomber aircraft that was lost on a raid against Duisburg, Germany, on July 26, 1942. (Image taken by Gregory J. Barker of Barrie, Ontario, in 2024.)
