Cross placed at grave of F/O Stewart by his airframe mechanic, Leading Air-craftsman W P Smith visiting Burma from his home in Scotland in January 2011. He was one of four men who maintained the aircraft that crashed at Myingyan North Burma 02-06-1945 (Squadron code NV-D, RAF aircraft serial KL174.

TAUKKYAN WAR CEMETERY Myanmar
TAUKKYAN WAR CEMETERY is outside Yangon (formerly Rangoon, Burma), near the airport and immediately adjoining the village of Taukkyan. It is on PY1 road (formerly Prome Road), about 35 kilometres north of the city from which it is easily accessible.
