Location:

Celle is located 40 km north east of Hannover and 106 km south of Hamburg. The CELLE WAR CEMETERY is situated on the northern outskirts of Celle on the route No 3 in the direction of Soltau. From Hannover follow signs for Celle. Approximately 45 km from the centre of Celle take the B3 in the direction of Hamburg. On reaching the town the road name becomes the Harburgurstrasse, turn left from this road ontoo the I. M. Rolande. The cemetery is located on the left hand side of the road, 200 metres from the junction with the B3.
