Son of Frank E. Howard and Clara Donnelly. Foster-son of Robert George and Mary Ann (nee Jowett)Cornelius, of Niagara Falls, Ontario.
1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, War Medal 1939-45. Posthumously awarded RCAF Operational Wings in recognition of gallant service in action against the enemy, the 23 February 1945.

ENFIDAVILLE WAR CEMETERY Tunisia
The town of Enfidaville is 100 kilometres south of Tunis on the main coast road. The ENFIDAVILLE WAR CEMETERY is 1 kilometre west of the town centre, on the road to Zaghovan, and its approaches are well signposted. It is immediately south of the small civil cemetery.
